Then and Now…

Information Proficiency was born from consulting services in 2000, trading as an independent contractor until 2008 when Information Proficiency was registered expanding to focus on broader Records and Information Management services with founders Lisa Read White and Alex White. Sigma Data started out focusing on Content Manager installation, support and add-on products in 1994 with founder Chris Stokes. Information Proficiency and Sigma Data were two dominant providers in their own right – in 2013 we combined under the Proficiency Group which strengthened and broadened our offerings in the Information Management Space.

Alex White

Technical Director

Alex is a qualified Engineer with more than 20 years experience working with embedded software and business systems. Alex brings with him a diverse range of engineering skills as well as an extensive practical ability.

Lisa Read White

Director

Lisa is an experienced practitioner with more than 20 years experience in Information and Records Management working for a range of organisations both Private and Public.

Lisa is experienced in areas such as Business Analysis, Project Management, Change Management, Strategic Planning, Software Deployment, Compliance, Audit, Benchmarking, Business Process Improvement, and Operational Excellence.

Lisa is regularly involved in providing comment on industry publications, and holds positions on several committees and boards including Records and Information Management Professionals Australasia (RIMPA).
